Advertising Campaign
Thank you Ms. Depace for your time and consideration throughout this whole process. In this blog I will be incorporating 5 different advertisements that I hope you can use effectively. I have created a billboard advertisement, a story board for a commercial, a half page magazine ad, a possible social media page, and also a direct mail advertisement. In all of these advertisements I have incorporated the price for the first month of unlimited rides for only $55. With this I am trying to grab the attention of possible customers with an affordable price and unlimited rides for a whole month. Also, adding in the wood background helps to add consistency throughout all of the ads that I have created.
In this billboard, I have incorporated the simple wood background with the logo in the middle to help stay with the traditional logo. I also added in the slogan "It's up to you, to help you" using green colored font on everything other than the "You" which is also capitalized to help draw more attention to that portion of the advertisement. I used the green font which is the same exact color as the colors used in the Handlebars logo. I also included the location of the Handlebars gym because while being in a car, and address will be useful so customers could travel to that location.

This advertisement is my half page magazine ad. In this ad, I incorporated a headline that has the price for the first month to really hook customers. I also added pictures of the handlebars studio to show possible customers of what bikes they will be riding, which are top notch. I then added the slogan, and once again made the word "YOU" a different color to add more of a pop and to show viewers that they can better help themselves through Handlebars Cycling classes. I also added that they can improve their physical, emotional, and mental well being to help show even more benefits of these classes. The wood background was added to keep the consistency and also add the nice classic and unique style this business has. I used the circle logo and also tilted it slightly to the right to incorporate some sort of business ID.

In this ad to the left, I used this as my direct mail advertisement that could be emailed or even sent as print mail. In this ad, I kept the wood background to once again keep the consistency and keep that nice classic and unique style to the advertisement. Throughout the ad, I used rounded color blocks for my text. For my gray round rectangular color box, I incorporated the benefits of cycling to show customers what possible benefits they can gain from these classes. I used the round green color box to show the price of the first month and used to round white box to add the business logo. I tilted both of the round circles to help just give the ad some style and keep it from being so boring. The picture of the girl is in a cycling class and she is smiling which will also show viewers on the fun that they are missing out on.

In this story board, this shows the plan of a possible TV commercial. In the top row, 3 different people are riding a bike, but they have some restriction holding them back from getting the work out they truly desire. In the bottom row, it shows all the benefits that HandleBars has opposed to the restrictions they experienced before showing the benefits of an indoor cycling class

Since we are trying to target a younger target market, I thought Twitter was a great way to do so. Twitter is used by millions and tons of teens in the Naperville area use Twitter as their main source of social media along with Instagram. By using Twitter, you can give away promotional items as well as gaining more recognition through follows and retweets. Giving away discounts and sales through follows and retweets will give the Twitter account more popularity, which will also lead to more and more sales. Incorporating pictures of the studio to show people what they will expect will also be very beneficial. By using the hashtag to incorporate the slogan will add to help keep consistency and create a slogan that customers will remember. Twitter will help tremendously to help target the younger market because they will see retweets and tweets on their timeline frequently keeping Handlebars fresh in their mind.
